Like many of us, I keep my weekends strictly for vegetating, and try to enjoy a 2.5 day break from routine, responsibilities, structure, and all the rest of it.
This past weekend was no exception, and I enjoyed a wonderful, and relaxing 2.5 days with friends and loved ones.
While I want to sleep in on Monday mornings, I know that, if I do, my week won't be off to as good a start as it could be.
I'm on my mat as I type this, getting revved up to begin my practice. I ran a 5K yesterday (with zero training), so I'm interested to see what my muscles are going to have to say for themselves this morning (in the past, it's usually nothing by leg and back tightness that comes from running). We'll see how things feel on the mat.
