Not much motivation to stay in the routine (even on day 2).  A blog is useful because it gives something that one has to report to.  It's currently 5:15am and I'm nearly done with the first mug of coffee. I'll say that, after my practice yesterday, I felt better physically and mentally but, for whatever reason, that had worn off by the end of the day.  I wasn't unhappy yesterday evening, but I was listless and felt a little dull.  This morning I've got some minor stomach issues going on (don't know what could be causing it as I've had a clean diet for the past two days now).  We'll see what some time on my mat can do for me..... 5:00am wakeup call for an hour of coffee and contemplation (to quote Officer Powell on Stranger Things), and then I'll hit my mat for the second time this week. I practiced yesterday morning but didn't contribute a post here but, in a nutshell, I'll typically shower (bathing before and after a practice is traditional, I'm told), and then throw on one of my soooper tight running tshirts, a pair of shorts, and hit the mat. I've had an atrocious diet from the Thanksgiving weekend that just passed and I've paid for it in several ways.  During forward bends, and inversion poses, I could literally feel the excess mass that needs to be eliminated around my gut.  The beautiful thing about yoga is that, in addition to the spiritual and mental benefits of silencing your mind while you put yourself through physical stress, it helps you eliminate a lot  of garbage from your body that would ordinarily linger around longer than it should (I'm talking about poop here, ...
